dealership, we are a credit union and as such, we are
anxious to sell our previously owned automobile inventory
currently available. Because you will be purchasing directly
from Heritage Trust FCU, where we help you live, work, dream
and achieve, it means you will get a great deal on a vehicle
from a source you can trust. If you chose to finance your
purchase with Heritage Trust FCU, you will get excellent rates
and terms on your loan.

purchase.
Now you can buy one of our vehicles and get financing all
from the comfort of your own home. Thanks to our partnership
with TitleAuctions, you can view, get information, and bid
on vehicles just like you do on ebay or other online shopping
sites. Financing for your purchase is easy - you can apply

Using The Auction Web Site
The Web site -- brought to you by Heritage Trust and powered
by TitleAuctions is designed to offer competitive-bid auctions
for pre-owned vehicles. When you use the Web site to bid on
a vehicle, you can keep track of your bids until the auction
closes. Keep in mind that when you place a bid on this Web
site, you are entering into a legal contract for the purchase
of a vehicle, so bid carefully.
- Registration - If you only want to browse vehicles in
these auctions, registration is not required. If you want
to bid on a vehicle, or post your own vehicle for sale,
you must be registered. Registration is a simple process.
It's important to note that we respect your privacy; your
registration information will be used only to facilitate
auction transactions. We will never share or sell your information
to third-party organizations. The three-step registration
process will take less than five minutes. It consists of
- Reviewing the payment agreement.
- Completing the registration form.
- Confirming your registration.
Shortly after completing the registration form, you'll receive
an email confirming your registration, email address and password.
Once you've received this email, you're ready to begin bidding!
- Log In - Just as with Registration, you can browse
the Web site without logging in. Once you decide to bid
on a vehicle or post a listing, you must log in. In this
way we can ensure the integrity and security of the information
and transactions related to this Web site.
- My cuAuctions - This area of the site allows you
to update your personal information, place a watch on vehicles
you're interested in, monitor any bids you have placed and,
in some cases, post your own vehicle for sale.
When you are ready to have a look, Go
to the TitleAuction Auction Page.

More about the Auction
-
How do I purchase a vehicle using
the internet?
It works very similar to other auctions in that you put in
a bid for one of our pre-owned cars at the TitleAuction
Auction Page.
The highest bid amount is always shown, and you can increase
your bid in response to other bidders. You can also use proxy
bidding. That means you can enter the highest amount you're
willing to bid. If another bidder enters an amount higher
than your current bid, TitleAuctions will gradually increase
your bid amount up the maximum that you set. We'll also alert
you via email when someone has outbid you giving you the opportunity
to increase your bid amount. The highest bidder at the end
of an auction is obliged to purchase the vehicle in accordance
to the auction payment terms (per their acceptance of the
TitleAuctions Payment Agreement.)
How is this different than eBay or Yahoo
Auctions? (back to the top)
Vehicles on TitleAuctions are owned by Heritage Trust FCU.
That means you can trust us to make full disclosure about
the vehicle you buy, and you can be confident that we will
work with you to make the transaction smooth. Also unlike
the eBayMotors and Yahoo! Autos, you'll never encounter a
dealer on TitleAuctions. With TitleAuctions you can buy without
the usual dealership mark-up, and avoid the usual dealership
hassles. You'll be working directly with the credit union.
First, register to bid - it's free there's no obligation
(back to the top)
Heritage Trust FCU will require some information from you
in order to finalize the vehicle transaction, should your
bid win. The registration process captures that information.
Once you have completed the on-line registration it takes
a few minutes (usually 5 minutes or less) to create your account
and update our database with your information. To complete
your registration, simply click the Activate link in the confirmation
email you receive; this will open your account. Once you have
reached this point, you're ready to begin your bidding.
Can I trust you with my personal information?
We are passionate about maintaining your privacy. Your personal
information is kept secured and strictly confidential using
the most stringent security protocols currently available.
Your information is never shared with any outside party. You're
protected by two layers of high security - Heritage
Trust's Privacy Policy and TitleAuction's
Privacy Policy both are available on line. We do not provide
your name or personal information to anyone else - period.
Can I see the vehicle before I bid?
Of course, not only can you see the vehicle on-line, if the
pictures shown on TitleAuctions do not provide you with enough
information, you can contact Heritage Trust Federal Credit
Union by email at Heritage@htfcu.com
or by phone at 843-832-2600 to schedule a test drive; the
telephone number for scheduling an appointment is also shown
next to the item you are bidding on.
Who is responsible for shipping
/ delivery and storage? (back to the top)
While most of our bids are local, we do have successful bids
from all over the world. As a successful bidder, you are responsible
for picking up the vehicle or for shipping and delivery to
your location. There are many shipping options available to
you including United
Road and McNutt
Auto Transport Service. You have 5 working days from the
date of your successful bid to pick up your vehicle and avoid
additional storage fees. If the vehicle is not claimed within
5 days of a successful bid, Heritage Trust will bill you for
storage fees at $5.00 per day for every day after 5 days.
